We run Joy Games, and we also have our own apartment in Los Cristianos. We set it up the way we like to travel with our own children: a pool warm enough for a winter swim, a cool bedroom for naps, and the bulky baby gear already waiting inside.

Heated pool, all year
The pool in the complex is heated, which is rare in this part of Tenerife. Children can swim in January, not only in August.
Room for a family
A double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. A travel cot fits next to your bed.
A bedroom that stays cool
The bedroom faces away from the afternoon sun and has a quiet ceiling fan, so afternoon naps and early nights are easier.
Two terraces
One with a view of the mountains and Teide, one facing the ocean and the sunset. Coffee on one while the kids nap, dinner on the other.
Everything within a short walk
Shops 1 minute, restaurants 2 minutes, a shopping centre 5 minutes, the beach 10 to 15 minutes on foot. A quieter street at the foot of Guaza mountain.
Less to pack
Washing machine, drying rack, dishwasher, iron and a fully equipped kitchen. Bring fewer clothes and wash them here.

Joy Games is our family business, so you do not need to fly with a cot or a high chair. For apartment guests we deliver the travel cot and the high chair free of charge and set them up before you arrive. Need a stroller, car seat or toys too? Add them when you book and we bring them along.

Los Cristianos with small children
Los Cristianos is one of the easiest places in Tenerife to stay with a baby or a toddler. The south of the island gets the most sun, the town is compact, and most of what you need is within walking distance.
The main beach sits in a bay next to the harbour, so the water is usually calmer than on the open coast. The seafront promenade is flat and long, which makes it a good stroller walk in the morning or after dinner. From the port, ferries leave for La Gomera if you want a day trip.
